DAYDREAMER Sample Sale Haul

A sample sale of graphic tees? Say no more. My best friend Jessi and I may have gone a little overboard at the Daydreamer sample sale in LA a couple weeks ago, and it was completely worth it. Nothing like shopping and getting coffee with friends while continuously convincing each other to treat ourselves (as if we never have before.)

In case you haven’t stumbled upon them before, Daydreamer is a brand of band tees made in Los Angeles. All of their styles are fun, unique, and insanely soft. They believe in “living in the moment” and saying “yes” to adventure. You can find their pieces on their website and in stores like Free People, Anthropology, Revolve, and Nordstrom.

After 2 fun hours digging in boxes with my bff, here’s a quick snapshot of all the goodies I brought home:

I ended up with a few Rolling Stones tees, including this first white distressed one that’s a perfect fit and the tie dye one shown below that Jessi and I both just had to have. Of course I couldn’t pick just one No Doubt tee so I snagged both and regret nothing. Arguably the best find of the day was this Smashing Pumpkins tee that Jessi spotted for me- the only one we saw all day!

I’m really loving color lately since I’ve been feeling bored with my everyday looks, so this oversized tie dye Janis Joplin tee was the perfect addition for summer. Along the same lines, this seriously extra Elton John tee was calling my name (you can’t see, but it has rhinestones of course.) Finally, I’m a cropped tank girl through and through, and I could never have the heart to leave this color behind.

This Led Zeppelin dress was a major success because I had this in my online cart on Free People forever ago, and I ultimately couldn’t justify the purchase, even though I still have a Led Zeppelin CD in my car at all times. I found it in my size at the sale for $20! We see graphic tees all day every day, but how often do you see a graphic dress of one of your favorite bands? I felt so lucky! It’s slightly oversized and shows the perfect amount of leg.

Overall, I’m so happy with the whole experience. There was so much merchandise to choose from which I wasn’t expecting, and everything there was $20! The staff was really sweet and tried to help us to find what we were looking for in all those boxes. Everything is great quality and in great condition, since they’re samples. I know I’ll be living in these all summer long!

I hope you liked this haul (and the peak at my bookcase!) Let me know if you’d like to see a little collective haul every few months, since I had so much fun making this, and I can obviously shop too much anyway!

See you soon!
