I love wearing orange almost as much as I love wearing black (key word: “almost.”) When the weather’s warmer, my style becomes a little more feminine and fun- and that’s definitely how I felt in this look. This simple, little slip dress was a major score while thrifting in Joshua Tree. The staff at Desert Peach were so welcoming, and when my friends saw this dress, they knew I’d love it. I’m a sucker for slip dresses, so I just couldn’t pass up this color. I may alter it a bit here and there, but I couldn’t wait any longer to wear it. To dress it down, I paired it with my favorite chunky Dr. Marten sandals (you either love ’em or hate ’em) and a slouchy bag. An oversized denim jacket is my go-to over a flirty dress. This one in particular is one of my favorite Soto items recently. The icing on this (strawberry short)cake were my dream strawberry earrings by Schaeffer Clay Maker on Etsy! Seriously, how precious are these? Lastly, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention eyeshadow “Juicy” by Urban Decay, which was the exact color of my dress.

I hope you like this look and are soaking up the sun! After so long inside, it’s been so therapeutic to go on picnics, drive to the beach with the windows down, or to just take my morning coffee to the balcony. Feeling summery in my outfit is simply a plus.
