This is a casual outfit I wore to run errands and hang out with friends, and this type of look has been really typical of me during the summer (aka sloth season). The top was purchased a year ago at Brandy Melville, but is easily replaceable by a grey Hanes Men’s T-shirt, and the shorts are from Forever21. I always like adding cool details to simple outfits, and my favorite ways to do that are with jewelry and a cool purse. I’ve been wearing this choker almost daily. This stunning monogrammed blue leather bag was an awesome gift from my good friend, Nichole, that she purchased in Italy. I thought I needed a bit of color in this black and grey look, and I linked two similar styles above for you. These shoes are a little daring, but anything from Dr. Martens is my guilty pleasure. I’ve never really been a sandal person, and these give me the edge I’m always looking for in shoes. The choker, belt, handbag, and shoes give away that I’m a sucker for leather (especially faux).

I threw in a selfie later on in the day to show you a close up of these amazing (real) glasses from Warby Parker. It’s so nice to have frames that don’t hide my face, and they were less expensive than purchasing glasses through my eye doctor. I highly recommend checking out this brand if you need some fresh specs.
